The standard cycle time for cold-pressing operations is 10 seconds per workpiece, while the thermal processing cycle takes 120 seconds per unit (depending on the material grades and dimensional specifications of the components being processed). Additionally, fabrication commences only once the heating temperature reaches 800°C (the red-hot phase), with specific process parameters being defined based on the material type and the required bending angle tolerances.
8. During the thermal treatment phase of the workpiece, once the process parameters are configured, operators can initiate the cycle by pressing the start button or activating the foot pedal switch to trigger the fully automated sequence. This sequence follows a predefined set of steps, including the heating feed, thermal application, retraction of the heating elements upon completion, clamping and compression of the workpiece, ram lifting, and finally, the unloading and retrieval of the processed workpiece.
9. In the combined thermal processing and cold-pressing mode, once the process parameters are set, cold-pressing operations can begin immediately. The pressure ram does not need to return to its home position; instead, the lower pressing die is raised to create a 100mm gap, allowing for easy removal of the workpiece. This streamlined operational sequence significantly improves overall process efficiency.
